Hi members, welcome to Coronation Angling Clubs official website.

We are a small Derby based Angling Club that have select members wanting to simply enjoy fishing a few matches as well as have good camaraderie on the bank.

Here we will keep you informed with any latest news, the match fixtures, venues, match results and league tables, as well as having a gallery to share our good (and sometimes bad) days fishing.

So, the 2024 season has kicked off.

We dusted off our gear and got onto the banks at RYCROFT FISHERY on Moat lake for the 1st Friendly match.

Boy was it a stormy one with gusts of 50mph that made the conditions very difficult to fish in.

Congratulations to SHANE BURROWS who won the match with 124lb 14oz.

PLEASE NOTE: A committee meeting has been held to draw out the doubles partnerships and the golden peg, these are now on the website to view.

Our next match and the 1st league match is at HACKETTS, on the car park side. Let's hope the wind is kinder to us as we all know how open it is there.

It will take place on Sunday 28th April, Draw at 08:00am in the carpark.

There will be one silver net prize for this match (this money cannot be won if placed in the top 2 for either division)

I will try and keep the website regularly updated and any photos are welcomed to put in the gallery if you pass them onto myself.

MATCH FIXTURES 2024

The year's fixtures were done slightly differently due us not having a AGM.

Myself, the match secretary have picked the venues that are local and have been fished previously.

Dates have been set so there is a match every 3 weeks and I would like to stick to this every year as it works well and avoids all bank holidays.

There will be 8 competitive matches (7 Sunday, 1 Saturday) which will make up a league.

Points will be taken from the best 7 results out of 8 for the A + B division league titles.

There will be the usual day after the annual 'hangover' match, the Wednesday afternoon 'friendly' match and 2 friendly matches have also been arranged for the start and end of the season including a river match.
