Hi members, welcome to Coronation Angling Clubs official website.

We are a small Derby based Angling Club that have select members wanting to simply enjoy fishing a few matches as well as have good camaraderie on the bank.
​
Here we will keep you informed with any latest news, the match fixtures, venues, match results and league tables, as well as having a gallery to share our good (and sometimes bad) days fishing.
LATEST NEWS
Our 1st league match of the 2024 season was at Hacketts and as usual the weather decided to be against us.
After quite a mild spell, we had an overnight downpour which didn't ease off until only a few hours before the match ended meaning the carp just did not want to feed.
Congratulations to SHANE BURROWS and JAM RANDLE who were the joint winners with 23lb 1oz.

Our 2nd league match is at ALDERCAR, on ACORN lake.
It will take place on Sunday 19th May, Draw at 08:00am outside the cafe.

This shows all past winners from every season since the club was founded in 1961.

I will try and keep the website regularly updated and any photos are welcomed to put in the gallery if you pass them onto myself.

MATCH FIXTURES 2024
The year's fixtures were done slightly differently due us not having a AGM.
Myself, the match secretary have picked the venues that are local and have been fished previously.
Dates have been set so there is a match every 3 weeks and I would like to stick to this every year as it works well and avoids all bank holidays.

There will be 8 competitive matches (7 Sunday, 1 Saturday) which will make up a league.
​
Points will be taken from the best 7 results out of 8 for the A + B division league titles.
​
There will be the usual day after the annual 'hangover' match, the Wednesday afternoon 'friendly' match and 2 friendly matches have also been arranged for the start and end of the season including a river match.

This year we have a total of 22 members
11 in Division A and 11 in Division B.
This year we are running a doubles competition over all 8 league matches.
