Good roach and dace can be taken on both stick and waggler floats. For the specimen angler there are large barbel and bream to be had on the feeder with some excellent carp and pike also to be had.

The river is also available below the viaduct bridge right down to the caravan park. A good waggler water at the top but near the bottom end at the caravan park there are some big bream shoals.
