Packington Somers Coarse Fishery has been developed from former gravel workings to provide 13 well established, natural looking lakes and pools, set in superb surroundings.
 

Molands

60 peg match and pleasure lake, stocked with carp, F1 hybrids, tench, bream, roach and perch. Carp to over 22lb and match weights to over 100lb are regularly caught.

RULES

​

1. Barbless hooks only. Maximum size 10.

2. All fish must be returned to the water from which they are caught.

3. No braided line of any form to be used.

4. Tackle must not be left unattended.

5. Maximum of 2 rods per angler.

6. No fires, dogs, bikes or loud radios allowed on the fishery.

7. Fishing is from designated pegs only.

8. No keep nets to be used except in matches.

9. Cat/dog food can only be used on the hook not loose fed.

10. No halibut, trout or high oil pellets allowed.

 

ADDITIONAL RULES FOR MATCHES

1. Keep nets must be dipped and then laid out to dry and not put into the water until 15 minutes before match starts.

2. 60lb weight limit per net. Anything over 60lb will not count.

3. Floating baits must not be fed, can be used on the hook.

4. A float must be used when fishing the pole.
